From the finial atop Chester’s Guildhall, to the clock tower of the Town Hall and from the city’s Cathedral tower to St Mary’s Centre, I climbed them all to record images which were usually hidden from view.

Now, 30 years on and having successfully completing

the necessary training, I have the privilege of employing my head for heights, once more. I now climb the 90 metres up the vertical ladder inside wind-turbines, to photograph and record training and and health & safety videos for technicians.
